The creation of different African institutional frameworks in the continent, including law firms with an African flavor, is not a sudden happening that has not been anticipated in African history. It was rather a result of the age-old process of pan-African thinking and movement in different courses of history. No one can have the courage to have a complete figure of the historical roots of the pan-African institutions without giving much attention to the Pan-African movements, which may be considered as a founding stone of the OAU, the African Union (AU) and any other legal, political, social and economic institutions in Africa.

In line with this, Metassebia Hailu & Associates Law Offices believe that the spirit of Pan-Africanism shall be used as an engine for the creation of African institution like ours that operates within the legal jurisdiction of the African state. Accordingly, with the help of different local & international institutions, we have created a strong department that is promoting pan-African concepts and values. We believe that it will play a role in an effort to create common narration on the African legal frameworks and justice systems that are highly intermingled with African social, economic, and political narrations. In this corner, our researchers, affiliates, and interested scholars from different parts of the world react to wide-ranged African topics.
