Global Anti-Corruption Survey Launched by International Bar Association (IBA)

The International Bar Association (IBA) Anti-Corruption Committee and the IBA Legal Policy and Research Unit (LPRU), alongside the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), have announced the launch of a new anti-corruption survey to gather data on the existence and effectiveness of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering legislation at a global level.

The survey, open to all legal practitioners in all jurisdictions, builds on the work of the IBA over the last two decades on the risks and challenges posed by corruption to the legal profession. It aims to explore what is working and what has changed in terms of global regulations and best practices, as well as elicit lawyers’ responses to the evolution of regulations designed to combat the transfer of illegal assets within their jurisdictions.
